Coconut It Up!

The hubs and I just got home from a special date night {which is another post for another time due to my heavy lids}!  Quickly though, I wanted to share what I enjoyed in the car today.

SO YUMMY!! I l-o-v-e-d the hint of coconut flavor and the fact that it's sweetened with Stevia. You've gotta try it soon.  I know I'll be coming back for more!

50 years later

Tonight I edited this photo of our wedding day, October 9, 2010. We were on our way to our "getaway car" after being showered with beautiful rose petals.

Honey B. reminded me of this photo of my parents on their wedding day, December 19, 1960. They were heading into the parsonage for their wedding ceremony.

50 years later.  50 years ago.  Walking hand in hand with our futures ahead of us.  One couple just married, the other minutes from that special event.  All four people brimming with excitement and thanksgiving for the love they share.  What a legacy to leave for our children.  A solid, loving marriage that we can look back upon with joy in another 50 years.

I saw this on Facebook the other day:

I am so glad I have 'the man who' does all of that and more.

Valentine's Day is going to be wonderful, yes. But, I am such a blessed girl who can't wait to start every day with my sweet husband.

Okay, so last week, the dishwasher. This week, the kitchen faucet. Well, not exactly this week. She's been fighting it for a while, but this week, she finally gave up. The faucet I mean.  So off to the trusty Home D. we went!  We found this beauty.

And because of her lovely design, we could also add this as well!
